Floating wetlands
Floating Wetlands are an innovative, nature-based solution designed to enhance water quality in retention ponds, stormwater basins, and other aquatic systems. These engineered floating islands support the growth of native vegetation while providing critical biofiltration and nutrient uptake. As the plant roots extend into the water column, they create a habitat for beneficial microbes that naturally break down excess nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus key contributors to algal blooms and poor water clarity.
